2021 Pipeline to Politics

Thursday, Jan 28 – Friday, Jan 29

We believe women should be present anywhere decisions are being made. That’s why the Oklahoma Women’s Coalition and Carl Albert Congressional Research and Studies Center Women’s Leadership Programs are partnering once again to present the 2021 Pipeline to Politics virtual conference.

Pipeline to Politics is a non-partisan educational program designed for women interested in increasing their involvement in politics and public service. The program’s goal is to address the historic under-representation of women in politics and public life by providing participants with necessary tools to enter, stay in and emerge from the political pipeline.

In this intense program, women learn about political and leadership opportunities such as running for elected office, working on a campaign or being involved in other important civic affairs. Noted professional consultants and elected officials from both sides of the political aisle lead interactive discussions to help attendees craft successful campaigns. Topics usually include effective organization, communications, gender-based discrimination, fundraising and campaigning strategies.

Whether you are supporting a candidate, launching your own campaign or advocating for an issue, this training is for you!

Registration is $40 for this two-day working conference – discounted rates and scholarships are available via inquiry at info@okwc.orgClick here to sign up today!
