Oklahoma Women’s Coalition and Carl Albert Center’s Women’s Leadership Initiative partner up again to present the 2019 Pipeline to Politics conference in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
This event will consist of a networking reception on Friday, January, 25th for networking and cocktails followed by the conference Saturday, January, 26th from 8am-5pm at the OU-Tulsa Schusterman Center.
Pipeline to Politics is a one-day, non-partisan educational program designed for women interested in increasing their involvement in politics and public service. The program’s goal is to address the historic under-representation of women in politics and public life by providing participants with necessary tools to enter, stay in and emerge from the political pipeline.
In this intense program, women learn about political and leadership opportunities such as running for elected office, working on a campaign or being involved in other important civic affairs. Noted professional consultants and elected officials from both sides of the political aisle lead interactive discussions to help attendees craft successful campaigns. Topics usually include effective organization, communications, fundraising and campaigning strategies.
Whether you are supporting a candidate, launching your own campaign or advocating for an issue, this training is for you!
