Oklahoma Women’s Coalition announces resignation of Ezell

June 23, 2017

OKLAHOMA CITY — The Board of Directors of the Oklahoma Women’s Coalition has accepted the resignation of Executive Director, Danielle Ezell, who will now be running for a seat in the Oklahoma Legislature.

“The Oklahoma Women’s Coalition actively encourages women of all political parties to run for office, so it’s not surprising to us that Danielle has chosen to pursue elected office,” said Cindy Allen, OWC president. “She has done a tremendous job as executive director of our organization, and we thank her for her service.”

The Board has formed a Search Committee to immediately begin the process of seeking a new Executive Director to carry out the mission of the organization.

The Oklahoma Women’s Coalition is a statewide network of individuals and organizations working together to improve the lives of women and girls through education and advocacy. The Coalition promotes nonpartisan efforts, speaking with one voice, while addressing issues important to the progress of Oklahoma’s women and girls.
